  • Feline Fracas: Tigers vs. Cougars

I honestly have no idea what to expect from the Cougars on Saturday.

LSU has a new coach and a new offense. They have monster athletes but some key injuries. Hopefully they're overlooking us, but I have a feeling they're more concerned about BYU than they are Chattanooga.

IMO, we're going to have to keep them honest with the shallow passing game and convert on 3rd downs.

So it is still a question on where they are going to play this game... They play in in New Orleans:

Doug Thornton, a New Orleans-based executive with SMG who oversees the Superdome in New Orleans, said that the Superdome is available on Saturday if needed. "We just need some prior notice. ... by the end of Tuesday would be fine," he said. "But if they called Wednesday at noon (I'm) sure could find way.''

If the pumps are not going to fail. There is a lot of rain in the forecast down there. Or...

Other sites, including Orlando, Nashville, Jacksonville and Dallas, have been reported as possible replacement venues by The Baton Rouge Advocate.

I keep hearing the most likely venue is the Cotton Bowl. Or a double header at Jerrys World. What they should do is move it to Provo, make it a huge benefit for Hurricane victims. BYU donates the gate to the red cross. They flash the number across the screen all game, have a few human interest stories about LSU players being Katrina victims, pass around buckets to fill with money. And then BYU gives LSU a return game in Baton Rouge.

      Also this thread title sucks.

Geaux Cougs was an option, as was Cougar Bait, but decided to go in a non-LSU direction. Don't want them to get big-headed. I almost made it Zanesville Part Deux, but figured no one would take the time to look it up, and quite frankly, that whole affair is pretty sad.

I'll agree this may be the worst game thread title ever.

Can I get a second for banning GM from starting game threads in the future?

Upon rejecting the Beatles, Dick Rowe told Brian Epstein of the January 1, 1962 audition for Decca, which signed Brian Poole and the Tremeloes instead.

This is Karma for my criticism of the PSU thread title.

I also could have thrown some Mardi Gras beads on it and gone full blown cliche.

Its not just that it would have been cliché, it would have been LSU's cliché. Why adopt their style? I hope we wipe their style off their faces.
