I've watched the first three episodes and am really liking it. I'd describe it kind of as Mad Men, but focused on the record label industry and 70's music scene, with the typical gratuitous violence, language, drug use, and sexuality we've come to expect and love from HBO.
The below scene in the 2-hour long (!) pilot is what converted me. It's minor spoilers and has bad language and some gore, but watching this will give you an idea of what this show has in store and whether it is up your alley. Dice Clay kills it!
