  • President Obama is giving a fantastic speech right now.

He's talking about hope like he hasn't since the 2008 campaign. He's being realistic too.

Is he still in Israel? Are missles being fired as he speaks?

Good news. The middle east fertilizer shortage has ended.
One of the grandest benefits of the enlightenment was the realization that our moral sense must be based on the welfare of living individuals, not on their immortal souls. Honest and passionate folks can strongly disagree regarding spiritual matters, so it's imperative that we not allow such considerations to infringe on the real happiness of real people.

As usual, the spin from FoxNews is shameless.

He's really good at speeches. If only speeches would employ people.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yeah, we just finished a second election, four years, and we're approaching the 100 day mark of his second term, I don't give a f*** about a speech right now, pardon the French.

CNN and MSNBC used the crazy approach of showing the live speech, word for word. I expect that, this evening, CNN's spin will be analogous to mild sinus pressure and MSNBC's spin will be comparable to a week's worth of food storage meals.
