  • Introductions -

I've been lurking for a week or two at the suggestion of another poster here (I won't out him/her in case you decide I'm a dork and want me gone).

Not sure what goes into an introduction besides that.

    So here I am.

    Welcome to CUF, Eddie!

So when you're waiting for the next attack
You'd better stand, there's no turning back!

Hi, Eddie. I have a question:

If you had to choose one, which famous Eddie are you most like? Eddie Money? Eddie Haskel? Bauer? Scissorhands? Harris?

      I'm curious.

When I was a lot younger (like starting in Jr. High) I was obsessed with 2 things.

            Flying.

            World War II.

I just couldn't get enough information about either.

Somehow I started reading about the pilots of WWII, and when I'd read everything the library had about that I stretched both directions looking for more.

In my reading I discovered that Eddie Rickenbacker was credited as being the first US flying ace, and from there the name stuck whenever I needed a nickname or now username.

DDD - the poster I used to have like that had eddie flying in a WWII fighter. Can't find a copy of it now to post. Quality stuff.

Maybe he's a funny guy. Then perhaps Murphy.

Maybe he like music. Vetter or VanHalen

Perhaps he aspires to late night tv or infomercials. Sullivan or Mcmahon

A budding thesbian? Norton or Harris (you already mentioned this one, a fine choice, I might add).

              Maybe he likes carrots. Mister.

              Hows a guy to choose.

My first attempt at putting an image in a post.

Not necessarily a huge Iron Maiden fan - though I do like the 80's rock bands - but this one just seemed to bring together a couple of my interests.

And it looked cool to a teen to boot.

Well, I thought about that one, but I hate to have him tread into my territory.
