I bet Bradford was thrilled to have his acceptance be remembered forever. Well done Billy Sims, this Heisman ceremony will be much easier to remember than any others.

    Congrats Babs, he is deserving.

Sims did this with White and when Peterson was nominated, but it wasn't quite as obnoxious.

The great thing about this trio was that Tim won last year, Sam this year, and everything's lining up for Colt to have an epic year next season. So all three could end up winning the Heisman. That would have to be a first.

This only ups the ante in our rivalry with Oklahoma.
        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I didn't watch. What did Simms do? Get drunk and puke on McCoy?

you can watch the video of the announcement at espn.com. He just kept yelling Boomer! (to which Sooner fans traditionally respond Sooner!), except he was shouting in nonstop rapid-fire succession. It was pretty odd and it seemed to either embarrass or disconcert Sam.

              Cool.

              Nothing like enthusiastic alumni.

                edited for accuracy.

Yesterday on the Sooner board the odds were put at 80% that Sims would yell Boomer and 100% that he'd find a way to embarrass himself.

That is, in a word, awesome.

I bet Sims is a hoot at funerals.
