Boise was 16th and BYU 24th going into last weekend. BYU closed the gap from eight places to one. That shows you the lingering bias that comes from preseason polls.

BYU will play three teams that are ranked or were ranked at one point in the season. Boise State most likely will not play more than one more such opponent. I wouldn't worry so much about it.

Rankings are nice and all, but just win your games. Things take care of themselves.
