Flew out Thursday night. Sat next to an Oklahoman who was coming from Anchorage to his grandaughters birthday. Quite confident Okl. would win, but who wasn't. Nice guy, except I am guessing he's the guy that brought water to the eyes of several of us a couple of times.

Even with map quest, Dallas is brutal to follow directions and get from point A to B. Got within a mile of our hotel at 2:30 A.M. and got to our hotel at 3:30 A.M.

Golf was a lot of fun. Tour 18 was in good shape and a real kick to play. I went bogie, par, birdie on Amen Corner. However, the 420-440 par fours were just too long for me in that humidity. Posted a 88. Played Texas Star. Awesome course. Same problem with length and humidity. Posted 86, but that was with two 8's on par fours.

I agree with everyone on how awesome the stadium was and how great the game was. Oklahoma fans are great.

My regret was I couldn't make the get together, however we had 14 in our group and we didn't finish golf until 8 P.M. Friday in flower mound.

Friday night when we got back to the hotel, in the hall were two blondes playing cards in the hall. I asked, what are you ladies doing. Playing cards while our husbands are putting the kids to bed. I look down and they are playing UNO. I said, you must be mormons. They said yes and asked if we were BYU fans. I said yes, but we aren't true blue. You may see some shenanigans from the group, but when we do we won't have our BYU gear on.

So Saturday night after the game they are in the hall again. I asked how they liked the game. They didn't go. The husbands did, but they stayed and took care of the kids. Turns out they were from Oklahoma and drove down for the game.

One other funny thing. Some guy (BYU fan) in front of us had gotten an early start on celebrating. When we got there he was yelling at some folks in front of him. Something about donating in the 6 figure range to the program. He was somewhat obnoxious all game. When Jacobsen fumbled, he said he was cutting back his tithing 50%. He had two empty seats to either side of him, but when some BYU fan came and sat in one of them, he had the ushers kick him out.

I am telling you about this guy in case you hear the story somewhere else and think the guy was me. It wasn't.

Wow the new stadium has the ability to profile ticket buyers and put people with similar personalities in the same area of the stadium? Impressive.
