They just asked on ESPN who has a better chance to go undefeated BYU or Boise State. The ENTIRE focus of the discussion was that Boise has the easier schedule and thus better chance go undefeated. ZERO discussion of defense or offense or QB's or coaching or senior leadership. *%$#ers!
I actually am evolving into a position where I'm somewhat comfortable with the BCS situation. I actually am buying the argument that it's a giant 12 + 1 game playoff with every week meaning something. The regular season in college football is more meaningful than any other sport, and there's something to the argument that a playoff would diminish that.
Anyway, but I absolutely abhor the discussion of who has the easier path or who has the easiest schedule which dominates these early season discussions. Replace human voters with a computer system that could put an 11-1 BYU over a 12-0 Boise State and I could handle the BCS.
