Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

She almost got thrown out of the stadium for not sitting in her seat.

By the end of the game, she admitted to me that BYU was one of the best teams she has seen the Sooners play.

38% of the posters picked BYU to win and a non-trivial portion of the 62% that picked OU were Utes so DDD was not exactly standing alone.

Not bad considering Vegas gave BYU a 7% chance of winning.

Great game. I was stunned at how well the defense played.

Tell me before the game that we would have 4 turnovers and only score 14 points and I would have put BYU's chance of winning at zero.

That stadium was so loud in the first quarter, you had to almost yell to hear the person next to you.

There was sweet silence and a massive rush if crimson towards the exits in the fourth quarter. It was one of the most beautiful sights these eyes have beheld.

From the concourses to the escalators to the aisles, you could hear the echoing refrain...."B.....Y.....U!........B......Y......U! " People slapping high fives, hugging each other, it was a really fun experience. BYU fans were going bananas screaming and jumping around.

I was standing alone at the end of the 4th quarter. All the Sooner fans had bolted for the exits.

Bravo, TD. I made a prediction with my head and not my heart.

But I still enjoyed every minute of it.

And it should be noted that the Sooner fans were the nicest I've ever met. From kickoff to the aftermath, even the most inebriated was kind and complementary. Gracious in defeat to be very sure.

I was so happy I even had ice cream with friends.

Sidenote: It was loud, but I actually thought it was (relatively) quiet, for a stadium. Reliant is much, much louder, with fewer people.

Yes, Babes was a very good sport about the whole thing.

She jokes that every time she travels to a Sooners game, the team loses. I mentioned that I have only seen the Sooners play twice.....once against SC in the Orange Bowl and tonight vs BYU. Good to see that some streaks have remained intact.
