  • Babs, what is the word on Gresham?

    http://www.soonerfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=133825

Is he injured? Or is this site the equivalent of PrimaryBoard and Utefans.net when it comes to making stuff up?

out for the season. hurt his back.

Really sad. He was a frontrunner for the Mackey. He could have left for the NFL but opted to stay on.

        Seriously, it is that bad?

That sucks. He is fun to watch. He was going to be a top 20 pick in next years draft.

Heck, he may have been a top 20 in this years draft.

What does a season-ending injury like that do to his stock for next year? I suppose it depends on rehab and combine?

It really depends. I think it will take him out of the first round. He is way to talented to fall far though. It probably pushes him out of the first and into the top of the second where someone will get lucky to have him land in their lap.

I don't recall Adrien Dantley having that sort of injury. But I guess you're right, things turned out pretty well for him!

Are you talking about Adrian Peterson? If so, it probably kept him out of the top 5 and cost him some guaranteed money. Injury concerns were a bit of a red flag heading into the draft.

It really is too bad for Greisham. He would have been a top pick for sure.

Reports are this morning it is a knee and out 4-6 weeks, but nothing official from Oklahoma. The Vegas line hasn't moved, so I have my doubts he is officially out.

My apologies Babs if you are really well connected and I don't need to hear anything officially out of Oklahoma.

By the way, I get no joy out of this kid or any kid getting hurt. To be honest though, it wouldn't have bothered me if he had been suspended a game due to being caught having a beer at a local club.

What's with all the reports that say it's his knee?
