  • Is this impressive or embarrasing

I'm torn on how I feel about the whole BSU color scheme http://www.broncosports.com/ViewArti...RIBER_CONTENT=. I admire that the fans buy into it and actually show up in something other than a jean pair of shorts and last years Hogie Yogi free give away shirt. But the same could also be said of those who attend Jonas Brother's concerts.

What say ye of Bronco supporters: Great college FB fans or purity ring tweens?

Tangent: How many of you can say you played a game at Bronco Stadium before it was blue? I can.

Is there nothing "worthy or of good report" you haven't done? Are you really John Haddow?

I played two high school games at Bronco stadium when the turf (Very hard field) was green. In 1978 against Capital and in 1979 against Boise. I was a O-lineman for Bonneville.

I played in the old John Affleck ball park in Ogden. Baseball, it was the North, South All State game. Yep, I was an all state baseball player.

Did I ever mention I was also a Zone Leader in Cleveland.

Man I wish I was flying out to Dallas today. I am becoming a jackass on here today.

Added Note: I am going to leave right now and play golf. I am dissapointed in my last few posts and do not intend on upping my jerk status further.

In 1981, the mighty Hawks of Alta High traveled north to face the Capital High whatevers. I not only played on the green turf, but I recovered a fumble during the 1st quarter that set up one of Chuck Cutler's 3 TD catches.

If they pull off that color scheme, I will be impressed.

I believe it is the Capital High Eagles, the high school of Jake "The Snake" Plummer.

I think that it would be awesome to see on TV if they can pull it off.

They have done similar things in the past.

I believe it was just rotating sections of blue and orange though.

They have livened things up with white this year.

I also hear they are rotating colors in each section in order to sell more merchandise.

It would be cool to take consistent aerial shots of each game and animated them and make the stadium look like a marquee.

with two exceptions, BSU is one of them.

I think the alternating color sections is kinda funny, but I like their other ideas. The wear your favorite championship shirt game (which would probably be the best supported shirt idea in BYU history if we stole it) then white, orange and blue games all seem like good ideas to me.
