  • Holy smokes; Cougs taking BSU to the woodshed in the second half

It's become a real track meet.

As Jimmer gets more and more confident this team could be pretty good.
    Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm starting to think Jimmer is going to be the type of player for us that Tavernari was supposedly going to be. Someone who can put the team on his back and get us a win when necessary.

I'm wondering if this doesn't become Jimmer's team by the start of league play. He really takes charge and is steady. Impressive for a sophomore.

Unbelievable ths was a 4 point game at the half. BYU pushed it to 36 in under 8 minutes.

How about the contribution of James Anderson so far tonight? What does he have 5 blocks?

I don't think Anderson missed a shot. Made me cringe when they brought in Miles.

I'm pleasently surprised by Anderson and MacGregor spelling Miles. They may be stiffs, but they've got some game. There isn't that much drop off.

I think we are so much better with Trent in Italy.

I fear your basketball team is setting you up just as your football team did. Don't kill the messenger.

Expectations were never as high. We'll enjoy it while it lasts - which should be until the first game of the NCAAs.

                Besides, this team plays defense.

This is why BSU needs the MWC. The football team is good but most of the other programs need a upgrade.

I've got a real man-crush for Jimmer. Wow, he is fun to watch. Anyone see him glance up at the student section with a little smirk after he made a big play, forcing BSU to call a timeout? He seemed to be having a lot of fun tonight.

And I have a confession to make: everytime I watch Jimmer I can't help but think of Mike Waters claiming that he could shut Jimmer down. Anyone remember that? Brings a smile to my face every time.

Yep, also I think of when Waters tried to argue that Jimmer couldnt dunk.

When this team is firing on all cylinders they're as fun to watch as any Y team in recent memory.

Last night the announcers were saying that BSU was picked to finish 5th this year.
