Just heard on 1280am that Sparedon is out for the year with a torn rotator cuff?
That is Reynolds, and now Sparedon both starters on the left side of the line. I think, both have redshirt freshmen backing them up?
Egads, if this is true, If I were Bronco, I'd do several things against OK.
1) I would start our 3rd string QB and RB, and keep Max Hall and Unga out for at least the first half, and perhaps the entire game if the left side can't protect the blind side!
2) In the first half, run almost exclusively to the left side, to get our lineman firing off the line and initiating the contact instead of pass protection where they would raise up only to see the defensive end going by their left shoulder untouched to the QB.
3) Run a 2 tight end formation on almost every play.
Hopefully, this is only dis-information from Bronco and that Reynolds and Sparedon are actually in peak condition, thus throwing the Sooners off practicing hard for BYU and looking to their next game. bwahahahaha.... crap.
