  • Nikuman...you invaded my DREAM!

    Scary crap here...

My dreams pretty much mirror real life. I am not a rock star, an athlete or anything like that. I am a soon to be 35 year old middle aged fat white guy. In my dreams I do every day normal stuff.

In last nights dream there is a knock on my front door. My youngest answers it and some chit chat ensues. She then says..."Hey dad, one of your internet people are here".

I go to the door and it is Nikuman. And why is he invading my dream?

He came to my house because he noticed that I haven't logged any activity in the Distance challenge and was worried about me, and concerned about my "progress".

    Wierded me out a bit.

So to report...Tuesday night last week I decided to go and play some basketball for the first time in a while. 30 minutes into it I was frieght trained by a large poly. I had back surgery 5 years ago (micro discectomy) and it has never fully healed right. I can golf and ride and walk and all that stuff but basketball does something to it. I felt a twinge in the back after picking my ass up off of the ground. Called it quits for the night.

Back bothered me until yesterday. My steady diet of Diet Dr. Pepper and Advil seemed to have it cured.

So...I shall go for a walk tonight just to make sure everything is good (fighting the end of the flu also) and then I will hit the bike again tomorrow night.

    Internet motivation...who knew!

That's crazy. Sometimes I awake from dreams with the motivation to ask a non-member out on a date.

That's funny. The other night I dreamt that my shower wouldn't drain and I called a plumbing company and they sent TripletDaddy out for the job. I thought it was a little strange, but I let him in anyway. He checked out the bathroom and said he thought it was a problem with the fusebox, but that he couldn't fix it because he didn't like my watch.

Well, I don't, that's why I was asking. If I did, I would have said "That's how most porno movies start".

              Sheesh.

Ha! My fitness power knows no bounds! Jillian Michaels bows before me!

Seriously, though, I'm happy a non-existent REM version of me was able to give you motivation. I haven't dreamed about everybody yet, but a few of you have made cameos in my dreams. Especially DDD, although he only shows up in the erotic ones.
Awesomeness now has a name. Let me introduce myself.

You keep talking, sass-parilla. I open myself up to the group and this is how I am treated!

ps you have longer hair. No way in blazes I am getting anywhere near your shower drain. I scolded my wife the other night for using my sink. There were these long hairs on the sink from when she was brushing her head. Grody!

damn you, tick! I took a nap this afternoon and had a cuffer show up and try to convince me to take back up cycling. I'm holding you responsible for this.

Speaking of dreams... Have you ever had your spouse get angry with you for something you did in his/her dream? I have. Pretty tough to defend yourself.

Yes. Not only that, but I have been accused of being thoughtless becaseu she couldnt sleep and I could. I point out that thoughtlessness is pretty much the goal when you are trying to be unconscious, but that didnt get me very far.

At this point so many of the old guard (heh! guard!) have made cameos in mine that it'd probably save time to list the ones that haven't shown up.
