  • Mel Kiper interviewing Bronco right now

on ESPN Radio. Pretty boring, but they opened the interview by saying Hall is a dark horse Heisman candidate.

K, that was short -- over by the time I finished typing this on my BB.

Not at all. Max is a senior and has put up good numbers, has taken his share of knocks, and probably learned something. He also has an offensive system built around him (or at least around his position). His future is in his hands. I remember not being completely sold on Brian Johnson going into his senior year. He clearly emerged as a great leader and player. So maybe Max can do that too.

      As Bronco said:
"Two or three or four plays during the course of the year -- sometimes five plays over the course of the year, was the difference between good and great. And we didn't make the critical plays, thus we fell one game short of winning our third straight conference championship. That's just the way it is."

I don't know where Bronco gets the numbers "three or four plays" or "five plays." Seems to me the number is at least six, and those were just in the Utah game.

Every single turnover in the history of football was a game changer.
