Do you take a daily vitamin?

When I did my fitness challenge a few years ago, I took One A Day - Weight loss. It was supposed to speed up my metabolism. My problem is, I go through phases where swallowing pills just doesn't work for me...especially when they're huge.

With my new routine, I've been taking the One A Day Gummies. That's worked out well.

Just curious to know what other vitamins or supplements the community uses.
"They're good. They've always been good" - David Shaw.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

I take a multivitamin, despite compelling arguments that all they provide is more expensive urine. I also take a low-dose aspirin (recommended for anyone over 50) and an iron supplement (for some reason, my body doesn't store iron well, and the docs have determined it's not due to internal bleeding or other problems). Finally, I take fish oil (omega 3 fatty acids) which by pretty much all accounts is a good idea. My wife's excellent chocolate chip cookies are also an essential supplement.

I may be small, but I'm slow.

I take caffeine 200 mg every 4 hours and am thinking about taking provigil. Those are my supplements, unless you include diet coke.

I don't take a vitamin pill, but I drop a tube of zipfizz into my water bottle when I leave for work in the mornings.

Studies show that multivitamins are a waste of money (and might even be harmful)...

            “Enough” with the multivitamins already.

That’s the message from doctors behind three new studies and an editorial that tackled an oft-debated question in medicine: Do daily multivitamins make you healthier?

After reviewing the available evidence and conducting new trials, the authors have come to a conclusion of “no.”

Those expensive MLM multivitamins must be an even bigger waste of money.

So the evidence doesn't show they extend your life. But what does it say about improving your quality of life? For example, I know some vitamin deficiencies cause sluggishness.

The best way to get vitamins is probably from eating a well balanced diet. I take a cheap Costco multivitamin daily just as insurance against my crappy diet.

Speaking of which, I've got problems. So this being the Christmas season, someone drops off a thing of candy on my desk every morning. Yesterday I polished off a box of orange sticks. Today it was a bag of Lindor truffles. I'm talking 800-1200 calories of candy a day. I'll pay for that later, I'm sure.
