  • I have only told a few people this

I have grown very tired of being a fat POS, so after a few failed attempts to lose weight over the last couple of years I decided to sign up for NutriSystem. I have been on the program for about 3 weeks now and am down 12 lbs. The food is not as horrible as I had expected, though I doubt DDD, SU or Nikuman would touch it with a 10 foot spork, and it encourages drinking 64+ ounces of water a day which I have exceeded faithfully.

I have upped my working out from just 2 time a week basketball to going to the gym 4-5 times a week, and started dragging myself to the old men early morning basketball on M-W-F.

I guess I am posting this as some sort of confession to gain motivation either via support or mocking. Either is fine.

Impressive progress so far ... I think plans like Nutrisystem are a good idea because at a minimum the really help to control portion size. I look forward to future reports.

Nice work, man. Keep it up. Crappy food is a small price to pay for how much better you'll feel.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

This thread is useless without pictures.

I have a starting picture, I am not sure I am ready to post here yet. It is Donuthole's desktop picture, so if you know him you could see it there.

If we all had to post pictures of our guts in two months that would be pretty good motivation. Normally I didn't need much of a reason to go to Vegas but I"m sorry, I need a better one then to see your picture.

Good for you - that is great. It is also one of the major reasons I will continue to be a fat ass.

              I can't drink 16 ounces of water a day, let alone 64+.

205 and counting. I carry it well - and by carry it well, I mean if you are looking at me from the front, I actually look fairly thin.

Not that I want you checking me out or anything, but let me tell you...I've got plenty of junk in the trunk. I bet your couch still has yet to recover from a few weeks ago.

In the art world we refer to this phenomenon as 'forced perspective.'

The poll just went up, no call has yet been made on the upping of the sauce.
