  • Utah lands another WR

Kenneth Scott a WR out of California committed. If you care about stars, he's a four star.

Looks like another good get for Whit & Co.

It'll be interesting to see how the Utese manage their commits this year because they've got far more than they've had in previous years at this time of year.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Why is this in a public forum?

Because it is public knowledge. And yes, I get your joke.

They also had another WR commit yesterday, and it looks like that news is finally public. Dres Anderson, son of Willie "Flipper" Anderson.

If you've played Techmo Bowl, you know how good the son of Flipper can be!

Maybe I'm wrong...but I was a lot more impressed with Dres Andersens film than that of the 4 star WR Kenneth Scott. Star ratings are obviously subjective, but just my thoughts on it after watching both of their highlight films.

The only thing I have concern with is the lack of OL/DL in the early commits. Looks like they have loaded up on skill positions for the most part.

You guys already have 1395802358320958023582038 Young DL's in the program.

Attrition is always a problem. Injuries, guys who don't pan out, positions changes, etc. I like to see some balance year in and year out. plus i'm pretty sure we don't have 1395802358320958023582038 young DL's in the program, that would be 1395802358320958023581943 more than scholarships allowed.

                        True.

It seems that the part of a KW defense that never really slips too much is the DL. The Utes have done a great job at filling the holes in the DL for several years now.

I'm more concerned about the QB.

                          As you should be.

I'm one of those that thinks your defense actually might be better this year than last even with the loss of Paul Kruger and Sean Smith, but the offense that doesn't have a clear leader at QB can be rudderless....regardless of the talent surrouding it.

I'm one of those that thinks an experienced leader at QB is the #1 Trump Card for any team. Yes....I'm a firm believer in having a strong defense,,,and I know many U fans disagree with me, but it was Brian Johnson last year that was more important to your team than your defense. He carried you guys.

He is playing in an arena league back east.

Actually the most important part of any offense is the offensive line. True a QB can screw that up, but to quote the movie "No (big) bucks (up front) no buck rodgers."
