  • New Sand Wedge

I've been swinging my Ben Hogan 56 degree ever since I was a kid, and I've never really had any complaints with it. That said, as my game has progressed, I've noticed I don't have as much distance control with it as I'd like, and I'm not getting a much spin as I'd like, either (the grooves are very worn from years of use.).

So as a belated father's day gift from Mrs. Donut, i've purchased the Cleveland CG14 56 degree wedge. I have been meaning to test drive this club for a while now, but I never got around to doing it. I stumbled across a great deal online, and I ordered one. Has anyone hit the CG series wedges from Cleveland?

Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I've never hit a Cleveland wedge, but I have a friend who has a set of them (56, 58 and 60) and he swears by them.
