It makes some sense, considering that Wynn has already graduated from the U and played for Chow last year. But it would make more sense if he had been hired as a graduate assistant right now, rather than the QB coach.

Frankly, I'm surprised by this stuff.

I mean, Doman, Brian Johnson, and now Wynn being hired to these demanding positions with little to no experience.

          It just seems weird.

Good for Jordan. Potentially not good for the 'Bows.

                Good for Wynn.

Seriously- is the cupboard that bare in the QB coach/ OC department? I know BYU fans were clamoring for Detmer a while back, but that may be beneath him based on what's been going on...

Here's a Trib story on it:

I guess Chow saw something in him. Really surprising, but good for Jordan.

So let's see....per that article, Wynn has the following resume:

                        1. Endorsed by Kyle Mendenham, who is struggling to be bowl eligible this year after finishing under .500 in conference last year
                        2. Endorsed by Brian Johnson, who is struggling to be bowl eligible this year after finishing under .500 in conference last year
                        3. Currently working with Travis Wilson (who looks awful)
                        4. Hired by Norm Chow, currently 1-8 and zero wins in conference.

This has success written all over it.
                        Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

Isn't Hawaii's QB one of these former baseball players? I know he transferred from Duke, so there's at least the possibility that even if he isn't 25-26 that he's still older than Wynn, right?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
