After reading the main Utah newspapers comment section and those wanting a new coach at BYU I was thinking who would even be on the list ?

Mind you I don't think Bronco will be replaced anytime soon unless Bronco leaves on his own which is doubtful. My guess is Bronco will be in Provo as long as he wants.

Some of the names mentoned included Andy Reid and Kyle which I don't see happening. Has Ed Lamb done enough at SUU to be a thought ?

Bronco is a great DC. He'll get a job with any big time program as the DC.

Bevell is *realistic* and hypothetical choice #1 at this point but Andy's contract ends in 2013. Who knows what's going to happen. I sort of sense Bronco doesn't care but maybe now that his pride is being called into question, he'll man up and become a good HC.

I know Reid's name gets tossed around a bit, but how old is he? I would guess maybe mid-50s. How many years could we conceivably get out of him? How many would we need to get for it to be worth it?

Yeah, I don't know if he wants to coach into his 60s. More of a pipe dream at this point. He's made a ton of money I'm sure and probably wants to go back to California and play golf every day.

They say every AD has a list of potential replacements at all times. Darrell Bevell is most likely on the list. Reid I would guess takes a break or retires after this year. I thought I read an article on the SUU coach doing well but I may have my wires crossed. Gary Anderson has done a great job but I don't think he is a member of the Church.
