  • Irrigation Project, Done Seed and Manure Tomorrow

Just finished the system. It was a huge undertaking. We had to excavate and clear trees, rip out undeveloped land and shrubs. 30 dump loads removed, 10 loads of dirt brought in. And tomorrow we lay manure and seed for our 45,000 square foot project. We decided against sod because of how much excavation had to be done.

We installed rainbird 5000 heads and union manifolds. Sure waters great. Next year we will do the rest.

I'm really excited for how it will look next summer.

Sounds great! What kind of Ditch Witch did you use?

I've done two systems in my houses in the past 20 years, and it's a great feeling when it works right.

I don't remember the name. My friend dug the trenches as I've never done it before. He made it look so easy; if I had done it, it would have been a disaster.

I'm very happy with it all.

I grossly underestimated the amount of manure needed. Finally got it all down. I'm gonna be swelling manure for a week.

Sounds like this is might be manure week as both BYU and utah laid a bunch of it this week as well.
