Hindsight is 20/20 but I was floored when they lined up for it, pissed when they called a pass play.

With our D, the thought didn't even cross my mind I was thinking, it will be like BYU to miss this point Maybe that is what Bronco was thinking.

            Absolutely not.

I know it's easy to say "hindsight" or whatever but I kept saying no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no-no when the offense was going onto the field. What an incredibly dumb decision when you have the momentum and have been given a miracle with your offense finally being able to click towards the end of the game.

Not to mention the idiotic lack of onside try with no timeouts left. Incredibly dumb decision. Further proof that it's time for Bronco to be replaced.

Absolutely. In 57 minutes of play, your offense scored 6 points and roughly 150 yards. You don't have the timeouts to mount a two-mi ute offense with a freshman QB at the helm. In my best Herm Edwards voice "you plaaay to wiiin the game".

It was absolutely the right call.

My only issue was the dipshit o-lineman who let the DT right through. The play call was good. If Hill has an open man, he throws it; if not he tucks and runs. Unfortunately, he was nearly sacked.

It's a heartbreaker, but was the right call.

You never cease to amaze. The absolute right call....

                Let's look at the game.

                BSU offensively scores zero.
BYUs defense is lights out all game.
You have Doman as you OC.
BSU has a worse place kicker than BYU.

The correct and only call was to kick the field goal and let your d win the game in OT. Your defense has dominated, let them dominate in OT and give you a chance to win. Not your freshman QB on a rollout.

                Good heavens.

Yeah, you play to win. In overtime.

Sitting in the stands, I was not shocked at the call at all. Having time to think about it, I don't think it may have been right, but I am second guessing with benefit of hindsight. I am certainly not outraged and calling for broncos head like I have seen on facebook and twitter.

The decision is no reason to call for a coaches head. None whatsoever, IMHO.

To have seen what I have from the offense the last couple of years against good teams has me wondering what overall needs to be done. Not one decision.

I liked the decision, but didn't like the play. There must be a better 2 point conversion play in our package than that.

                        * BYU's season ended last week, other than for pride, and the need to be a .500 team and be bowl eligible
                        * It was what Chris Peterson (who everyone-rightfully so- would do in that situation, most years)
                        * It showed your young QB you have confidence in him.
                        * It was Bronco (I assume) finally making a decision on O, like he would on D.

Perhaps I'm just numb from the Utah debacle, but last weeks loss felt like groin kick from Gene Simmons' boots. Tonight's felt like an unsuspecting stomach punch from my 9YO.

No. To call for his head, you have to look at his body of work, which makes for a more compelling case. But he is nowhere near being in danger of losing his job.

                            Exactly.

That was what was so weird about the call. Bronco has almost always gone with the decision that relies on the defense as opposed to gambling on the offense. Weird.

To me there is an intangible missing that I can't put my finger on. Maybe it is just unrealistic expetations I have tried to tone down, but are hard to kill.

We have good records and beat just about everybody we should or teams I just don't consider in our class.

However, it seems to me the games I feel we are matched up against our peers, we lose most. Maybe I am wrong who in I consider our peers.
