I have watched BYU's offensive lines the past six years or so, and I gotta say that overall I'm underwhelmed. With the supposed talent we've had in recent years, they just didn't look as good as they should be.
One of my concerns is that he's not giving it a full effort. He's a friend of a friend, and a couple of years back he supposedly said he liked coaching at BYU because you could still have a life outside of football. Is there any doubt that our O-Line was woefully under-prepared for the Utah game?
After BYU's loss to USU, Jaime Hill was fired. Bronco took over DC duties immediately. Lucky for us we had Bronco available, or we might have waited until the end of the season to make a change.
Is there anyone who can step in to take on the O-Line coaching duties? I know Jay Omer was an offensive lineman. If not, I think we find someone in the off-season.
