    The guy from Scout.com makes it sound like UW didn't care for Heaps anyway and was instead focused on Montana's kid. Give me a break, Sark probably knew that BYU likely had Heaps in the bag.

    With that said, Montana's kid is nice recruit for UW. #13 QB prospect, four star prospect. With UW's depth being down due to the downturn in the program, he probably should be able to start in a year or two. Sark seems like a great QB coach. Good fit.
    Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

    Keep in mind his dad used to be head coach at SDSU and so Luginbill probably already had a built-in bias against BYU even before this whole US Army vs Armor-All All American dustup.
