Yes. The Utes get the auto bid for the MWC. The NCAA will make known where the Utes will be sometime next week, most likely Mon. or Tues at the latest.
TCU being ranked at #10 and more importantly having an RPI (yes, they started the RPI ranking this year) of 12 will get them an at-large bid and they may even be able to host a regional, though they needed to win the tournament in order to solidify their chances at being a host team.
SDSU will most likely get a 2nd at-large bid for the regionals. Their RPI isn't great, but they are one of only a few teams to have 40 wins. Also in their favor is the fact that Strassberg is the best pitcher in college baseball and people will pay money to see the kid pitch.
Utah winning the tournament really benefitted the conference as a whole because there will now be 3 teams in the regionals, which is huge for a conference not known for baseball. Utes avoid elimination to see another day in the Regionals. They were down 9-3 in the bottom of the 8th and scored 7 runs to take the lead. Georgia Southern scored one to tie it in the top of the 9th, but Utah answered with a run in the bottom of the inning.

Not that you guys care, but the Utes eliminated Georgia Southern yesterday and just eliminated Gonzaga.
Utah and CS-Fullerton up in about 30 minutes.
In other college baseball news, my Red Foxes were eliminated yesterdayby Ohio State and Ohio State was eliminated today by Florida State by a scor of 37 -6.
