Two out of three said the debates were important to their decision, while just 39% said that the flurry of campaign ads were important.
New Mitt needs to keep showing up to the debates.

Mitt to Santorum: "First Newt. You're next."

According to the CNN live results (as of now):
          Romney: 47%
          Gingrich: 31%
          Santorum: 13%

Was it Newt that was calling for Santorum to bow out? The logic was that Gingrich and Santorum were splitting the conservative vote and if Santorum were to drop out then Gingrich would have enough votes to defeat Romney. However according to the above percentages, adding Santorum's total to Newt's and it still gives Mitt a comfortable victory (and there are probably many Santorum voters that would opt for Mitt over Newt).

Interestingly, it looks like the biggest percentage drops went to Santorum and Paul, who each lost about 3% or so from their recent polling numbers. Santorum is projected to receive 13%, Paul 7%, down from 16% and 10% respectively the last few days.

Newt looks like he'll stay steady at about 32%.

MITT! YOU JUST HAD THE BIGGEST VICTORY OF YOUR ENTIRE EFFING LIFE! STOP USING THE SAME TRITE LINES IN YOUR VICTORY SPEECH! SHAKE IT UP SOME, MITTY! SWING FOR THE FENCES, NOT JUST THE BASE HIT!

seriously though, Mitt needs a better speech writer. I wonder if his new debate coach has a buddy that can help him step up his game.

There was a Miami-Dade poll today without Santorum and Romney's lead over Gingrich actually increased.

I'm pretty sure my commitment won't stick, since it's entirely self-serving.

I appreciate that you're honest about it. Most people would try to justify something like that.
