The mountain west has a crucial year this year. They have made a statement, in the regular season and Utah backed it up with a post season win. Then in the off season tehy demanded entrance basically. Now they eggs are in hand and waiting to be chucked in the face of the MWC should they lay eggs themselves. I am intrigued as I ever have been with the MWC.

Having 3 teams in the top 30 is another reason to back up what is being given. This is where conferences are made. Good luck guys.

Oklahoma STATE?!? You've got to be kidding me. This is a team that finished fourth in the Big 12 South last year and then got embarrassed by a team that uses Donald Duck as a mascot.

LSU is being overlooked. They're going to contend.

Notre Dame should be in the 7-9 range.

Also Florida has twelve of the fourteen #1 spots while Texas has the other two.

That chart shows each team's complete range, for example Utah's high rank is 14, low is 26.

OSU will be good this year. They had a young team last year that lost 3 regular season games to teams ranked in the top 10 and probably have the best play maker in collage football. Had Dez Bryant not gotten hurt in the bowl game it probably would have been a different story because was killing the ducks. You are letting your hate give you the wrong impression of reality Babs.

Perhaps, but we've been hearing this every other year for a decade. "This is the year! You wait and see! OSU is going to break out!" But the truth is they simply don't have the talent, the facilities, or the coaching staff to do so. If they finish the season top ten, you look me up and I'll buy you dinner. Seriously.

Oh, and I don't hate Oklahoma State. There's no point. Texas? yes. USC? Absolutely. OSU? Not worth the effort.

I will look you up. I think OSU goes 10-2 this year with loses to Texas and OU. I think they beat Georgia in the opener this year. I really like their QB and Dez Bryant is one of the few game changers in college football this year. I think a top 10 finish is realistic.

I thought they did have some nice facilities now that the rich oil dude was dumping money into the program. I have a really good friend of my that has some ties to the program and he has been back there a couple of times lately and he speaks highly of some of the new facilities as well as the coaching staff.

It will be tough to finish top 10 in your scenario, because their two losses will come late in the season. Those two games aside, they have an awfully easy schedule this year. If ever there were a season for the Cowboys to break out, this would be it.
