  • Which BYU transfers have gone to better success, elsewhere?

This is not meant to be a CB-like bash on Jake for transferring. I don't blame the kid for doing what he thinks is best for his future.

BYU, like most schools, has lost a lot of kids over the years. I'm racking my brain to think of many who have gone to have even moderately successful college careers, let alone making it to the pros. I'm sure there are several, I just can't think of any right now. Daniel Bobik, seemed to have some success at BYU. It seems that a couple players, other than Ben Olson, have transferred after their missions, and I seem to recall at least one being a contributor at the U. However, most transfers or expulsions have seemingly had very anonymous careers at other institutions.

Interesting enough, BYU has had numerous contributors and even stars that migrated from other schools, especially after missions.

CJ Ah You. To Oklahoma where he was all big-12 and is now in his 5th year in the NFL.

Todd Mortenson was great at the Jim Harbaugh-led University of San Diego. He was Pioneer League co-offensive POY and had a few NFL FA contracts.

Ah You and Mortensen were the first two I thought of as well.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

We have had plenty of defections before and we will have plenty more going forward. That is the nature of the beast when you are dealing with 18-24 year old kids.

Sorry I was in a hurry and meant to add him to a different list. Star is most likely NFL bound.
