John Cullen made the list? Isn't that the guy the Utes thought was absolutely horrible?

His ability to play OT was never bad, but his tendency to do stupid things outshone his play. The complaint was the many times he would commit a personal foul after a play that would end up costing Utah a first down or really put the Utes in a hole.

For the first part of the season, he was worth 15-20 yards per game. He really cleaned it up after the Pitt game.

          This is pretty cool:

All-Academic: Four players were named to the first team on both the All-Pac-12 Team and the Pac-12 All-Academic Football Team--QB Andrew Luck of Stanford, OL Mitchell Schwartz of California, and DL Derrick Shelby of Utah. In addition, TE David Paulson of Oregon was named first-team All-Academic and second-team All-Pac-12
          .

          We'll miss Derrick.

I can't remember the game, the one where the other lineman got the sacks and the praise, Shelby was doing some of his best work in that game which opened it up for his teammate. Shelby is nasty.

Also, after watching my first live Utah game in years, Star is a physical beast and has very bad intentions. Most of those bad intentions become actions and those actions lead to bad results for the other team.

Ya'll always have kick ass defensive lines. Clearly, this year was no exception.

I guess you can add to Chip's coaching credits that he just won the conf for the third straight year with only one offensive first teamer. Gets the most out of his limited talent.

Gals DAT and Lee split, both were deserving.

3 defensive first teamers is pretty impressive for the ducks as well. for a unit that doesn't get much respect, the ducks' Defense is pretty damn good.

david paulson is a helluva tight end. between he and fleener, i suppose you could give the nod to fleener, but just by a few inches. paulson reminds me of pitta and kind of looks like him too.

Don't you mean won the conference by default for the third straight year? It is obvious what would happen if they had to play SC again.

Maybe Chip and co. should send a thank you note to Reggie.

Are you talking about that game that was decided by a missed FG? I'm not sure it's very obvious at all what would happen if they had to play again.

Technically speaking, is it accurate to say that it was decided by a missed FG? The FG only would have tied the game, not determined a winner. Is it correct to say that the final USC score was what decided the game?

I think you can spin it either way. The game wouldn't have been decided by the FG had it been made, but it was definitely decided when it was missed.
