Wow! Oregon vs Oregon State has been full of fireworks so far.

Ducks lead at the half 37-17. Oregon State has shot themselves in teh foot numerous times, and in the final minute of the half, OSU gave up an 83 yard TD run on 3rd and 19. Then threw a pick 6 on the ensuing possession, then drove 80 yards in 26 seconds for a TD to end the half.

Crazy game.

While it's true that an OSU win limits Utah's chance of getting a decent opponent in a BCS game, if the Beavers win the PAC-10, that really bolsters Utah's schedule argument.

OSU just got trashed. They gave up 700 yards of total offense and 65 points both the most in team history. The crazy thing is they were still in the game with under 9 minutes to play.

Awful defense.

So I was on a train all evening and missed the games and am just now catching up on things on Sportscenter and Game Day. That game was a joke. I was following it on my phone, but watching the highlights and OSU's inability to tackle was embarrassing. How this team beat USC and nearly beat Utah is beyond me. At least this way they won't be embarrassed by Penn State again in the Rose Bowl.

I was surprised by how easily Oregon won this game. I suppose the win over USC was just one of those things and to be honest, the Utes were fortunate to win their game over OSU, but I'd rather be lucky than good.

The OSU loss today actually bodes well for Utah, as long as USC wins next week. If OSU goes to the Rose Bowl, USC will most likely go to the Fiesta Bowl and Utah would more than likely end up at the Orange Bowl against a lousy Big East or ACC team.

Oregon finally has a QB who is comfortable with the team. Next year will be a very good year in Eugene with the P10 big boys (USC, Cal, ASU, OSU) coming to Autzen.
