I was back in OC at the time this game was announced but I only remember being really excited about it. People complained about that game? Major football power, heisman trophy winner QB, Big payout, national TV, inaugural game at brand new football stadium....I can see why people would be against it

I remember it this way too. Not all fans but a big enough chunk of the CB dummies were complaining. I do not have a problem with Bronco bringing this up but he should clarify by saying, "some fans".
