  • Aiding rule

I was by Oregon border today listening to game on OSU station as it was hard to pick up KSL. Anyway the OSU broadcasters were complaining of BYU aiding there runners wondering why there was no flag. Said you could aid a pile on but not runner. Had to look into that rule they said.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing. At least twice I saw some questionable pushing by linemen to move things forward.
Don't worry about people stealing your ideas. If your ideas are any good, you'll have to ram them down people's throats.

BYU seems to be more blatant than a lot of teams with it, but you see it all the time and I probably haven't seen it called in nearly 10 years.

You can ask Notre Dame fans about it. I think they know all about that rule.

            !)#*@%&)!
I think, perhaps, the only person who hates BYU fans more than ute fans hate BYU fans, is Bronco Mendenhall.

It's a rarely enforced rule and every team does it. Those announcers should know that.
