    Utah fans: take aways?

    What do the Utes need to do in order to get a positive turnover margin? We were fantastic before the bye week, but in the last two games we've turned the ball over 10 times and only forced a single takeaway.

    Pitt is worse than the last four teams we've faced, and after Cal the final 5 games are teams with serious, gaping deficiencies. Plus, every snap Hays takes is one more step towards gaining the experience necessary to avoid reckless mistakes.

      How about we start with Hays, white & Dunn get the Darnell Jefferson treatment of hanging on to the ball at all places?

        I wish I knew. And if I did, I wish KW would ask me so they can get this turned around.

        Seriously, my guess is that the Utes simply need to regain "the eye of the tiger," including being possessive and ornery about hanging onto the ball and taking it away from the other team. Those are the Utes we know. We miss them!

            Now that I'm a Utah fan, I'll opine. We don't need more take aways. We just need to sing Utah Man, criticize the Cougars, and bask in the glow of our admission to the Pac-12.

                    BYU's turnover disease was very contagious, and Utah caught it in the worst way. Utah needs to innoculate itself from further sickness by passing it on to the next team. Pitt is a suitable candidate.
