    Moving on...

Should Wynn not be able to go, would we see Hays or Shreeve?

With roadies at Pitt and at Cal coming up, this becomes a bigger home game for the Utes than it already was.

I'm ready for a little more Langi. At this point all they've done is burn his redshirt.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

JW IV has piled up some big numbers against BYU in the secon half and Montana; otherise not so much. I'm ready to see a little more Langi, but Whit knows best.

Based on Whit saying specifically that it didn't look good, which is uncharacteristic of him before a diagnosis, I think we can infer that Wynn is done for the next 5 weeks or more. I thought whit's answer and that Wynn couldn't take snaps, is not good.

I wish SeattleUte was right and Shreeve was ready to step in. But, Hays will just have to get the job done. I really hope that the defense is patient with the offense and can get us some turnovers and force punts. We will need good field position next week.

I am sad to not see Thretton, besides him being at the point of the tackle on every punt and kickoff.

Hays will have to get it together. Starting the game may be easier and less pressure than trying to come in for the save.

I've been to more ASU games than any other CFB team. It's a much more winnable game for y'all in SLC, but its gonna be tough. I look for you guys to bounce back after a tough loss, but lose a hard fought game. Good luck.

Hays played ok as a halftime sub. I'd like to see him play with a week of prep as the #1 guy.

Rough start to the conference notwithstanding, I get the feeling that the Utes are going to curb stomp the Sun Devils...

Thanks for the well wishes. I look for the team to play better, but come up short.

I certainly hope you're right, but based on the last two conference games, I just don't see it happening. Washington exposed Utah's weakness at LB and safety their DL kicked the crap out of Utah's OL.

It's going to get exposed all year...I appreciate the grit and determination of walk ons like Martinez and Walker, but I just don't think walk ons, even as seniors get it done for you at LB. I understand that there has been some attrition at the LB position, but Coach Whit and Sitake need to come up with some guys that can play (outside of Blechen of course).

Before the 4th down stop and subsequent TD drive in the first quarter, the Utes D looked a little intimidated and not ready to play coming off the bye. I fast forwarded through the second half, but it would appear that happened vs. Washington...and as others have said, ASU is more talented than the Huskies, so Whit & Co. are going to have to do some work this week to get ready for them...if Wynn can't go, look for some kind of Dunn wildcat package.

Utah seems to feed off attrition and Arizona State seems to find a way to disappoint so I wonder if we might not see some Ute magic.
