  • BYU playing during GC

Elder Sikahema talked of avoiding games during conference and how Pac 12 does not care. Business wise good idea to avoid games during Conference. Jazz tried to play Friday of Spring Conference too. There have been a few times though BYU played during GC.

On my mission I heard BYU won there game today during Priesthood session of Conference out of GBH's mouth conducting. With 60'000 fans it is a good idea to schedule around conference.

The rest of campus is open during conference and Sports no one watches play then. Many jobs require people to work then. Elder Sikahema had an intersting article on Utes playind during conference though. For Business reasons good idea to schedule around conference.

AFAIK, each year the minor BYU sports will play games on conference Saturday. This year the women's tennis and men's golf teams are playing today. You're right, conference Saturday is not like Sunday. Still, it's not good business to schedule large public events on those days. Utah ought to try to schedule its bye week over conference weekend.

"God made the angels to show His splendour - as He made animals for innocence and plants for their simplicity. But men and women He made to serve Him wittily, in the tangle of their minds."

Favorite Priesthood session when GBH excused all early to watch fb game against SDSU. Beck off to a rough start fumbled on early drive but put them away in the end. Priesthood talk about perseverance must of been thinking about.
Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock
