    BYU 2009 National Champions

    Our BYU rugby team dethroned the Cal Bears and finished the season undefeated. It's an incredible accomplishment for our university team to excel at a sport that is so physically taxing, much more so than American football. I have little doubt that all here can accept that this is more impressive than anything any other school in our conference has accomplished in any other sport.

    Cal didn't want to be there. They would've rather played a better team from a more well-known program.

      That is great news!

      Does anyone know how the Utes rugby team fared this season? Or any season?

        No clue but I heard that 4th South was going to be closed and there was a parade permit pulled.

              The Utes didn't do well in the playoffs this year, but last year Utah and BYU would have faced off for the championship had Cal not defeated Utah.

              Utah and BYU are 2 of the premiere club teams in the country.

                        coattail in football, coattail in rugby...when will it end?

                        At least BYU fans can admit when the U has the better program. For example, women's gymnastics.
