    Week 4 Open Thread

    Besides the prime-time BYU-CUF game featured by the Worldwide Leader in Sports on Friday, here are other interesting matchups I'm looking forward to:

    -SDSU @ Michigan (Brady Hoke against his former team) - if this happened a year ago, SDSU would have had a better chance
    -Notre Dame @ Pitt
    -#14 Arkansas @ #3 Bama
    -#7 OkSU @ #8 TAMU - Go Pokes, send them out of the conference with a loss
    #11 FSU @ #21 Clemson - Former Bowden Bowl is still intriguing
    #2 LSU @ #16 West Virginia - nice inter-conference matchup

    A lot of good games to look forward to...

      Florida St's record in Death Valley Jr is surprisingly abysmal. That will be a great game.

        Alabama fans call their stadium "Death Valley Jr"? Why is Alabama trying to be LSU?

                Good one. Early season title implications for that division.

                BTW, I haven't kept up. What happens if the Trojans win that division? Do they play in the championship, or does it go to someone else?

                  Nebraska @Wyoming: 6:30 pm CST; Versus

                  First ever meeting in Laramie between the schools. Both teams come in at 3-0. This game will be closer than most suspect. Nebraska needs to improve if the Huskers are to remain in the top 10. Wyoming may not have the fire power to defeat Nebraksa but Wisconsin certainly does and could embarass the Cornhuskers when they travel to Madison the following week for their inaugural Big Ten game.

                    Not allowed to play in the championship game, so second place team gets to play for it, even though everyone will mock them for being frauds.

                      Great games on all day, MMM gone most of the morning and all evening at some women's broadcast. :rockon2:

                        Clemson also a Death Valley.

                        There are three Death Valleys and two Happy Valleys in CF.

                          I love that intro. And Morgantown is representing. That's an impressive showing by WVU there. Damn, I hope we all end up in the Big 12 so I can road trip there.

                              I was thinking the same thing. Looks like a very fun destination.

                              I saw a great sign in the crowd. A WVU fan had a sign with a big SEC logo. Said "if you can't join 'em.....beat 'em."

                              GameDay opens with BYU highlights. fowler says "all is not well" at BYU.
