If there is an official CUF tailgating thread, would a mod please move this post? I couldn't find one, so I'm starting a thread. Is anyone thinking of tailgating before the Utah game? My wife and I will be running the ToU marathon that morning and coming down for the game that afternoon. Since I'm driving to Utah, I am willing to bring down some smoked roasts if anyone will have a tailgate set up. I'm finally comfortable with the smoke/freeze/reheat process (we had roasts for our Labor Day picnic yesterday that were smoked two months ago and they were great), so I think I can deliver quality - though probably not Drunk Tank quality. Anyway, it would be fun to get together again.

I remember the tailgate before the ???, I remember the tailgate just not before which game. It was a fun tailgate. I am not going to list off everyone who was there, but you were cooking up stuff. It was a fun tailgate.

Florida State, I believe. I wasn't cooking, but KC was, and he had some of the best Tri-Tip I've ever eaten.

I would definitely stop by with my dad if there was one.

I'm flying up for the CUF golf tournament (anyone interested should see the Back Fence thread for details) that morning, and I can't assist with a tailgate logistically, but would give glory, laud and honor to anyone willing to help cowboy in this mighty endeavor. A CUF tailgate with both fandoms well represented, eating large quantities of delicious beef, would perhaps reduce the internecine bitterness of late.

Due to having to coach youth soccer saturday morning I will not be able to golf, but if there is a tailgate my party could participate. I can do a pretty decent tri-tip, but I will need a grill provided.

Youth soccer??? What the hades??? Is it the Idaho State Championship game for 5 year olds. Surely they would understand if the assistant coach handled one game, unless of course it is for the Idaho State Championship for 5 year olds.

My wife coordinates it and I am already going to miss 50% of the games. I like you folks but there is beauty all around........

Does FM still have his RV? I seem to recall that maybe he sold it. I had originally intended to bring mine down again and set up at the north end of the IPF lot, but things are a little sketchy right now for my wife healthwise. I won't know until next week if I can get away for more of the day than just the game. If I can do it, I would love to have everyone gather.

You certainly get a free pass here, but it would be superb if you're able to make it.

Cowboy, I bought an entire beef tenderloin yesterday for an on-campus activity, and I thought about you. $68

You bought a long, tubular piece of meat and thought of cowboy?

I am down for whatever. I have really enjoyed the last few CUF tailgates I have been to.
