Over the years of sending kids to school, we've accumulate 7-8 master locks for which the kids cannot remember the combinations. I was about to throw them all away, but came upon this process and found out it actually works! Of course, it takes about two hours, and figuring that a master lock costs only about $3, it really isn't worth my time, but the feeling of accomplishment was so great the first time I did this, I'm going to do them all.
