    Not really that cool. Besides that the revenue for BYU is a guess since BYU does not release those numbers. They are a private institution and keep that stuff private.

      Junkie is right on this regarding BYU. From conversations that I have had with people "in the know" who I trust, those numbers are not accurate for BYU football. I have no idea what it is for the other sports.

              BYU doesn't release this info. Within the last ten years, a good source (can't remember it was either Holmoe or Hale or Bateman) said the BYU athletic budget was about $20M and expenses ran right at that, some years in the black some in the red. And football was somewhere 75% or more of that $20M.
