      A thousand times this

No doubt about that. But, if they do that, then most of the SEC should just go away, too.

What about Auburn? What a joke...

          Absolutely. As should Auburn.

Nope. Unlike the Trojans, the Sooners cooperate with the investigations and are more than happy to throw the offending students under the bus.

It just stinks for teams like Oklahoma and Oregon who play in national title games that end up being worthless. Years from now Auburn's entire 2010 season is going to be considered void due to the ineligible player on the field, but it won't do Oregon any good.

                  Understood.

This is what I anticipated; oh well, such is life. Time to move on, I'm still going to be at the Coliseum, regardless of record, sanctions, or scholi counts.

I couldn't agree more. Throw in Auburn as well like someone has already mentioned.

tOSU better get it handed to them.

I'm no USC fan, but someone at the NCAA must hate them and have an axe to grind. There is no way known to mankind that they can justify this while looking the other way with so many other schools. This is absolutely insane. The NCAA might be more corrupt than the Iranian voting system.

The NCAA is so corrupt IMO. I don't think there is any debating this.

The thing that is already happening though is the BCS is slowly separating themselves from the NCAA and soon enough, the NCAA won't have any say in college football. That is if the BCS sticks together.

                            Dear Football Gods,

Please let this be the tip of the iceberg in reforming college football.

                            Signed,

P.S. Thank you for the moisture.

They're not going to look the other way. It just takes them nearly a decade to do anything.

I think what they're really trying to do is send a message that the "we don't recall that, senator" approach simply isn't going to cut it anymore. That doesn't bode well for Auburn or Ohio State.
