Oklahoma is one of the schools known to numb the pain and push kids to play through their injuries, and then look the other way as the kids get hooked on painkillers or who knows what else. I think we've talked about that epidemic in college sports in the past. Very sad.Comment

i just heard this on the radio. it sounds like he dealt with a lot of injuries, so the speculation about pain killer addiction might not be too far off. so sad when such a young life ends tragically.Comment

Bob Stoops is heading for a Bootlegger Boy's style demise in about a decade. It's how you feed the monster. If you watch closely, OU Football and news stories about supplements/pain killers/steroids slides by the news every 2 or 3 months. Stoops tiptoed around Big Red Auto Imports by throwing everyone under the bus. He really ought to start thinking about how to tiptoe through this minefield.Originally posted by OrangeUte View Post
