  • Kiper rates M. Reynolds the #1 OT in his early look at 2012 NFL draft

2012 NFL draft: Early look at Andrew Luck, Dan Herron, Justin Blackmon and those returning to school in 2011 - ESPN

Analysis: Reynolds isn't a young man by the standards of this list, based on his Mormon mission. I still see him as a fringe first-round guy, but he's in that range and things could improve. Potter is here, though I originally saw him ending up at guard. Osemele is underrated and well-coached. He's a mauler with good size for the position, and he doesn't allow sacks. The only new name here is Adams, who started to blossom down the stretch for the Buckeyes.

Beast. Glad we're getting him back next year.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Didn't McShay have him as a first rounder at the end of last season?

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

Who is going to take Speredon's position? Is it going to be Houston Reynolds? Then the backups would be LT: Yeck, LG: Vaitai, C: Tushaus, RG: Kalihil'i'i, RT: Stringham. I guess Thorson would also be a potential back up. Pretty deep this year.

Have both Yeck and Stringham redshirted? I guess if one of them has a redshirt available he could do that and BYU could keep Walt Kahali'i'i'i at a back up tackle position but I think his future is at guard with Stringham and Yeck being the next OTs after Reynolds and Braden Brown.

I'm choosing to mostly ignore your fatuity here and instead overwhelm you with so much data that you'll maybe, just maybe, realize that you have reams to read on this subject before you can contribute meaningfully to any conversation on this topic.

Injuries probably hurt his stock in the draft.

I'm excited to have him back (especially if he's protecting Heaps' blind side...as opposed to R. Nelson).

I think we may see Houston start at Center with Terrence Brown at guard. Unless BYU think Tushaus is going to be a good one. Then possibly Houston at guard and Leave Brown at Center to tutor Tushaus for one more year. Also Maanaki Vaitai is back from his mission I think he is going to be very good.

I am a bad fan. Until reading this I had assumed Speredon was back. I think I must have figured all of those injuries were going to add up to one more season for him. His eligibility was a tough one for me to track, because I apparently didn't try to keep track of it.

Speredon could have likely got another year, but just decided to move on with his life.

Brock Stringham is also back from his mission. He's going to be VERY good and a starter by 2012.
