I prefer to make up unique categories for all my nominations. If that invalidates my selections, well alright then.

The Anti-Jefe Award for paternal support and patient encouragement of all members of the CUF online community:

The Community Service Poster Award: To all the doctors on CUF, especially the foolish ones willing to dispense free advice that they're just gonna get sued for in a few months.

My wife worked in market research before the kids. There is a survey type called a "verbatim" in which, you guessed it, you right down verbatim what the respondent says. However, to make sense of the data for people like Indy, she had to "code verbatims." It was mind-numbing work for which they paid her an obscene amount of money.

In that same spirit, I will code your unique categories for people like Indy.

          How about categories like

          Most embarrassing post
          Lamest poster
          Dumb as a brick award
          Most obvious kiss up

          Stuff like that. More interesting.

No fair inventing categories to suit your own skillsset. There's a reason these aren't called The Santos.
Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

Are you going to call them the 2011 Cuffies? If so I can't nominate any of the posts from 2010 I have bookmarked, and that will make you sad since they are all from DDD.

No, I'm not. They are The 3rd Annual Cuffy Awards.

Coach deserves some kind of an award for the thread where he compares toilet paper v. flushable wipes.

That's what the FUCies are for.

I've been waiting a year to nominate this post. I laughed harder at this than any post in 2010. It deserves something.

Most thought provoking: I'd have to go with Robin or maybe Max or New Mexican Disaster.

Not that I'll take the time to find the links, but these are the posters who get me to think the most.

Also, I think a lot about JIC's story of how he met his wife at age 13. Not in a crazy way, but in a "that's sure a good yarn" way.
