I know this is already old news, but when you've got the President and members of Congress from Utah and Texas on board, then there's bipartisan support both politically and between BCS vs. non-BCS constituencies. The BCS, at best, gets the top two teams right about half the time. In response to the latest pressure, I think we're first going to see the BCS switch to a system where an additional game is played after all the BCS bowls are finished and the two top teams are picked at that point.
That of course wouldn't always solve the problem, but would be an improvement.
