Sounds like there are rumors BYU may be landing yet another transfer. Speculation is it's the Unga kid who plays LBer at Oregon State.

Appears he's played quite a bit as an underclassmen, though if there's a position where there's not much room for another body it's got to be LBer.

There's two of them. Twin brothers who are Harvey's cousins. That's all I recall from the bowl game. Which one is rumored to be leaving? Both? We're pretty stacked at LB though.

Talo Steves confirmed with Devin Unga today that he'll be meeting with Coach Mendenhall today in regards to his planned transfer to BYU. Unga was recently released from Oregon State.

Uani "Devin" Unga is a 6-2, 219 linebacker who will most likely vie for a spot at Sam linebacker while at BYU. We'll have more on Unga and his transfer later tonight.

He wasn't playing much, the other Unga was a starter I think by the end of the year.

He's going to need a haircut!

He is the less talented of the two brothers. His twin is a stud and I would be very excited to land him. Devin is decent and will add depth.

Yes, and unfortunately all of them are castaways that didn't play much. But are probably still better than anything on our current roster.

In this case, he's probably coming in as a walk-on. I've got no problems with that.

True. Of course, the kids we have had transfer away are of the same ilk. Seems to be the nature of transfers.
