After losing the entire Utah market in terms of recruiting and exposure I can't imagine why Utah State wouldn't be added.

After losing the entire Utah market in terms of recruiting and exposure I can't imagine why Utah State wouldn't be added.

Because it is such a small small insignificant market that it doesn't really matter.

I haven't looked lately, but a couple years ago there wasn't a single kid from utah on a non-utah based team's roster. I'm sure that's changed (I think WYO has a couple now) but I don't think the teams that stayed are bemoaning the loss of utah for recruiting purposes.

As far as the "loss" of the market goes, we'll be alright. No need to make a panic move and add a team that does nothing for the conference just because of where its located.

The Utah football talent pool has really grown over the last decade. USC, Stanford and Oregon always seem to have Utahns are their rosters.

Oh I agree. But that still doesn't change the fact that we will not miss it. They go to a legit school or to a utah school.
