Being the eastern Idaho rep on this board I wanted to start this one. First off let me say I don't think people in Provo realize how bad this program is. If Bingham were to play them I would bet money on Bingham. The thing I'm most interested in is the number of fans from Pocatello that show up. It's going to be bad.

I graduated from Ricks and got accepted to ISU. Not hard to do though. However I did not pursue a bachelors degree. Maybe should of. Wonder who to cheer for if I did. Thing is ISU has had few good football teams that I know of. Will bring some Pocatello residents down there. ISU fired there coach. Will get clobbered and a big paycheck. Why they are doing it.

I attended a High School game at HOlt arena. Kids thought it was great. A few dairy bowls when Ricks had a team. Rudy Johnson tore apart the Vikings. And the byu isu bball game watched it there. They don't do great ISU doesn't.

Boise State offered me a football scholarship but I guess Idaho State thought I wasn't good enough because they didn't give me the time of day. I hope BYU kicks the crap out of the bengals.

I played some HS football games at Holt Arena (formerly known as the "mini dome"). I hated it. The turf was like carpet rolled out on concrete. You had to tape up every piece of skin or lose it. I also ran sprints on their indoor track. I hated it too.

I played a couple of games in the old mini dome and it had no bounce at all. It was like playing football on a blacktop school yard. This past fall I went to a nephew's game there against Poky and it hasn't changed much at all. Even the carpet looks worn out.
