Bowl Ties for Independent BYU

What does BYU do next year and from here on out for bowl games? Is it dependent upon filling spaces which conferences could not? Or does it arrange independent contracts with games (ala Navy and the Poinsettia Bowl, or Notre Dame and the Gator Bowl)?

I think Drew said today that he's heard rumors BYU is working on some type of deal with the Holiday Bowl. Not sure what that entails. I just hope we get into the B12.

That sounds good, but I wonder how many, if any, influential Holiday Bowl decision makers are still around from when BYU was a regular in this game.
